Employment Relations Authority website goes online

Media Release

26 November 2009

The Employment Relations Authority now has a website which was launched today.

Employment Relations Authority (ERA) Chief James Wilson says the new website recognises the fact that the Authority is an independent entity. “I hope it will encourage New Zealanders to become better acquainted with the Authority’s work.”

Previously, people looking for information on the Authority had to go to the Department of Labour’s website.

Mr Wilson says the ERA website includes information on how the ERA operates.

Parties wanting to take cases to the Authority can download application forms from the website. However, cases will still have to be lodged with Authority offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Contact details for these offices are available on the website.
The ERA website can be found at www.era.govt.nz
