High Performance Working Initiative (HPWI)

The Government is introducing a new productivity initiative to support enterprises in improving their business processes, through effective employee engagement and workplace practices. The Department of Labour High Performance Working Initiative (HPWI) will provide practical support by partially funding specialist business consultants to help firms develop high performance working processes. Industry bodies, trade and union organisations and regional business networks will be invited to help deliver this support to their members as “High Performance Working Partners”. The Department will begin calling for expressions of interest from organisations interested in becoming an HPW partner early in 2011.
