The Department of Labour Graduate Research Sponsorship 2007

This year, the Department of Labour awarded three $5000 research sponsorships to three graduate students. 

The first award went to Petra T Buergelt from Massey University for her research “Experiences and Interpretations of Contemporary Immigrants to New Zealand and Australia throughout the Migration Process: German Immigrants.”

The second award went to Yu Chen of Auckland University for her research “The Impact of Immigration on Wages in New Zealand.”  

And the third award was given to Robyn L Mason from Massey University for her research “Organisational environments and young workers’ orientation to learn.”
