Deputy Secretary - Work Directions:

Monique Dawson heads the Work Directions group. Work Directions helps improve the performance of our workforce and workplaces by actively responding to the constraints and opportunities of our current and future labour markets. Work Directions works with other key players who can influence economic development to help shape the future of work.

Monique was formerly a General Manager at the Department of Employment and Training in Queensland. In this role she oversaw the development of policies and strategies to support economic growth through increased labour market participation and worker productivity.
