- An independent humanitarian appeal or departmental assessment occurs. Depending on the outcome, move to Step 3a if unsuccessful or Step 3b if successful
Step 3a:
- If appeal or assessment unsuccessful, explusion proceeds.
Step 3b:
- If appeal or assessment successful, confirm authority to remain.
