Organising Around Health and Safety: Course No 476

A one-day workshop for any EPMU delegate and/or member who has a strong interest in and/or is active in workplace health and safety. Ideally, delegates and members will come from workplaces where there is an elected Health and Safety Representative operating on site.
The workshop aims:
- To provide participants with the skills and knowledge to undertake effective organising in their workplaces around health and safety
- To develop strategies to enhance the Union's contribution to more effective management of health of safety in the workplace

Injury prevention, accident Compensation and Rehabilitation: Course No 601

This one day course has been developed for union delegates, workplace leaders, and health and safety representatives.
The course aims to develop participants knowledge, understanding and skills of:
- The accident compensation system in NZ
- ACC programmes and their relationship to injury prevention
- Injury management
- Work related injury cover and entitlements
- Research of historical material.
