I have applied for a visa using an application form
Online viewing may be enabled to allow you to view the current status of your application on our website. This function is activated when we receive your application, or you may call the Immigration Contact Centre to request that it be activated.
To ensure this you must provide your email address in the contact details section of your application form.
When this service is activated, an automatic email is generated and sent to your nominated email address.
The email contains instructions on setting up your personal homepage, through which you will be able to track the progress of your application/s with Immigration New Zealand.
If you are having problems with the instructions in that email, please contact our Immigration Contact Centre.
I have applied for a visa using Online Services
If you have submitted an online application (eg. Working Holiday or Expression of Interest) your online account is already set up - you need to log back in to your Online Services account and click on "My application" link on the right hand side.
Your application status will be displayed on this page.
I have applied for a Student Visa using Immigration Online
If you have submitted a Student Visa application through Immigration Online then you will be able to see that your application has been submitted by logging into your RealMe account. To get a more detailed update on the status of your application you will need to register for Online Services and have online viewing enabled by the Immigration officer processing your application, or by the Immigration Contact Centre.
