Our health requirements are different depending on whether you're applying for a resident visa or for temporary entry class visa.
If applying for residence, every person included in the application must meet the resident visa health requirements.
If applying for a temporary visa (visitor, student, work), every person included in an application must meet temporary visa health requirements in order to be issued a visa for NZ.
If you are applying for a Working Holiday Visa, the medical certificates required are determined by the scheme you apply under and not the country you were born in.
Further information on health requirements can be found in our Health Requirements Leaflet.
