Concluding collective bargaining is an important phase in the process and there are a number of traps for advocates. The agreement has to be ratified, signed and implemented and it is an opportunity for participants in the process to learn from the experience. Setting time aside to de-brief can ensure mistakes are not repeated and new knowledge is embedded.
