SKILL SHORTAGES IN THE TRADES
Introduction
The Department has published the findings from 30 skill shortage assessments on Trade occupations. These reports are a key output of the Department's Job Vacancy Monitoring Programme. As well as reporting on the types of shortage found in each occupation, the reports provide an analysis of the demand and supply forces contributing to the shortages, and a short-term outlook. An overview of the findings is also available.
