Long Description for Figure 2: Leptospirosis cases notified July 2005 - June 2006

Figure two outlines the number of leptospirosis cases notified between July 2005 and June 2006, comparing the current count of cases against the historical mean. The figure shows that, apart from two peaks in October 2005 and February 2006, the number of cases is in line with the three year average. In October 2005 14 leptospirosis cases were notified compared to six cases notified in the same month the previous year, while in February 2006 13 cases of leptospirosis were notified compared to 7 notified cases in the same month of the previous year.
