In Canada in 2000 23.1% of the population is aged 0-17; 64.3% are aged 18-64; and 12.6% are aged 65+

By 2026 it is projected that 18% will be aged 0-17; 60.6% will be aged 18-64; and 21.4 % will be aged 65+

By 2051 it is projected that 16.7% will be aged 0-17; 57.9% will be aged 18-64; and 25.4% will be aged 65+
