The after effects of a disaster can impact upon your employees in many ways.
Be mindful of the psychological impact on employees returning to work. Some staff may be reluctant to re-enter the workplace, and also be aware of any cultural or religious considerations.
Ensure your evacuation plan is updated and all staff are aware of the safest exit from your workplace should the need arise. The Department of Labour has resources available to help you with any work related problems as a result
of the earthquakes.
