Immigration Survey Monitoring Programme Indicators
The purpose of the Immigration Survey Monitoring Programme (ISMP) is to build up an evidence base about migrants’ settlement and labour market outcomes, employers’ experience with migrants and community attitudes towards immigration.
This evidence base will enable monitoring over time of both effects of immigration policy and changes in the environment which may affect immigration policy. Comparisons will also be able to be made between key groups.
The ISMP is comprised of three surveys:
- Migrants survey (run annually)
- National Employers survey (run annually)
- Community survey (run biennially)
Below are indicators from the surveys. Existing indicators will be updated as each survey is run and new indicators will be added as they are developed.
