Jen Breed

Consultant Jen Breed has significant experience working with companies in the area of organisational development and employment relations. She has fifteen years experience as an educator/trainer working for the PSA.

Working in partnership with managers, unions and joint teams to develop resources, Jen increases the capability of people to create quality workplace relationships.

Jen is currently involved in two employment partnership projects that involve the development of structures, processes of engagement, culture change approaches and a training/development plan.

Jen is also one of three facilitators working with district health boards and their relevant unions as part of a DHB/NZCTU joint project. The work involves facilitating a series of workshops that assist the parties to develop a strategic plan of development and tangible work projects. The aim of the project is to increase the participation of workers in decision making.

She is also involved in the Department of Labour Partnership for Quality project. As part of this, Jen has helped develop an education and development plan that uses the Partnership for Quality approach to increase the capacity of the Department and the PSA to deliver quality services.

Jen has extensive experience in facilitating workshops around conflict management, using a problem solving approach with unions, managers and within joint forums. She has worked in many different environments and with Maori and Pacific groups to explore the development of partnerships between unions and workplaces.
