Write Your Rights - Song competition

The write your rights competition winner has been announced.

The Department of Labour teamed up with Niu FM and Dawnraid to offer one lucky musician the chance to get their original song recorded by New Zealand’s premiere hip-hop outfit Dawnraid.

The standard of entries was very high. After an intense round of judging the winner has been announced.

Hokimaianahera (Angel) Rosieur’s heartfelt song ‘Know your rights’, about her partner’s safety at work, stood head and shoulders above the rest.
